About
I’m a composer and songwriter creating music with a strong sense of atmosphere, emotion, and narrative. My work spans original film scores, diegetic music, and standalone songs that live equally well on screen or as artist material.
With over thirty years as a professional musician, I bring both instinct and craft to every project. I hold a BSc in Music Technology and Audio Systems from the University of Huddersfield, alongside a deep working knowledge of music theory and production.
Alongside regular live performance, I’ve composed music for short films and feature films across a wide range of genres, including horror, comedy, action, suspense, drama, romance, and mockumentary. I’m particularly drawn to psychologically driven storytelling and emotionally grounded music.
My songs have also been used in film soundtracks, and I’m open to licensing my catalogue for film and television, as well as collaborating with artists and filmmakers.
All work is produced from my own professional home studio, and I’m known for being reliable, communicative, and disciplined with deadlines.
I’m especially interested in projects where music plays a psychological or emotional role rather than simply sitting on top of the image.
